Usui Reiki attunements in Luxembourg City — From Awakening to Master Teacher

Convinced of the benefits of Reiki, I became a master teacher in order to attune others to this practice. Usui Reiki attunements take place in very small groups, in French or English.

The Usui Reiki degrees

The Usui method is transmitted step by step. Each degree builds on the previous one and leaves time for the practice to settle into daily life.

1st degree (Shoden - The Awakening)

2 days or 4 half-days

The Opening
The First Degree opens the channel to Reiki energy and introduces the practice of hands-on healing, supporting self-treatment and the care of those close to you.

  • History and principles of the Usui Reiki method
  • Reiki attunement by the master teacher
  • Hand positions for daily self-treatment
  • Guided practice in a small group

2nd degree (Okuden - The Transformation)

2 days or 4 half-days

Going deeper
The second degree introduces the traditional Reiki symbols and expands the practice to distance healing and emotional work.

  • Introduction to the first three Usui symbols
  • Distance healing & work with emotional memories
  • Structuring a complete Reiki session for another person
  • Ethics and the practitioner’s approach

3rd degree (Shinpiden - The Realisation) and 4th degree (Master teacher)

Individual pathway

Mastery
The Third Degree is for those who wish to deepen their practice and, if they choose, eventually pass the teachings on to others.

  • Master symbol and advanced meditative practice
  • Deepening personal practice & grounding
  • Preparation for ongoing client practice
  • A teaching pathway for those who choose It

Why receive a Reiki attunement?

An attunement requires no special gift or medical background. It opens the channel to Reiki, which can then be cultivated through regular practice. Many people begin with Reiki for themselves — to cultivate greater calm and balance during times of stress, anxiety, fatigue or transition — before choosing to extend their practice to those close to them.

Daily self-treatment becomes a simple appointment with yourself: a few quiet minutes to soothe the mind and reconnect with your inner vitality. For those who wish to go further, the following degrees offer a pathway towards a structured and ethical practice of supporting others.

Frequently asked questions

Are there any prerequisites for a Reiki attunement?
No prerequisites are required for the first degree: it is open to anyone who is curious and motivated. Each subsequent degree simply requires having completed and integrated the previous one, with some time dedicated to practice.
How much time should I leave between degrees?
A practice period of a few weeks to a few months is recommended between degrees, allowing time to integrate the practice and make self-treatment a regular habit.
Where do the attunements take place in Luxembourg?
At the Ghaya practice, 1 rue d'Anvers, L-1130 Luxembourg, or at another location agreed upon together. Sessions are held in very small groups to ensure personalised support and individual attention. Sessions are available in French or English.
Can you practise Reiki professionally after an attunement?
The second degree introduces the practice of supporting others. Regular practice, ethics and personal development matter more than certification alone; these principles are explored throughout the training pathway.
